The 'Photographer of the Year' competition has been running for over 5 years at the Scottish Motorcycle Show and is always a highlight for visitors!

There are two categories – adults (17 and over) and juniors.

- Our panel of expert judges will be ready and waiting to begin sifting through the entries in a bid to find the very best work, which will be showcased in front of thousands of visitors at the popular event, which is held at The Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, Edinburgh on 8th – 9th March 2008.
- Successful entrants will be invited to the MCN Scottish Motorcycle Show at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston on Saturday 8th March 2008 – we’ll contact you week commencing 25th February 2008.
- The winner will be selected by our panel of judges and announced at the show on Saturday 8th March 2008 at 2:30pm.
- The closing date for entries is Friday 22nd February 2008 – Good luck!

The Prize
Junior category – trophy to take home plus MCN goodies
Adult category – The Gordon Kerr Memorial Cup plus MCN goodies
The Rules
- Each entrant may send a maximum of two printed photographs.
- Black and White or colour photos only, slides are not acceptable.
- Maximum photo size is 12" x 10" (300mm x 250mm) including mount if any.
- All photographs must be clearly marked with your name and address as well as content/description of the photograph.
- All photographs must have a Scottish link and MUST be motorcycle related.
- All entries must be accompanied with a stamp-addressed envelope of appropriate size for photographs to be returned.
- Previous winning photos cannot be re-entered.
Terms & Conditions
The Photographer of the Year competition is open to all UK residents who enter on or before the closing date of 22nd February 2008. No purchase is necessary, but only one entry per person is allowed. Anyone who enters more than once will be excluded from the competition. All photographs The Photographer of the Year winner will be selected by a panel of judges and announced at the MCN Scottish Motorcycle Show 2008, Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, on Saturday 8th March 2008. In the event of a tie, the Judges decision is final. 2 complimentary tickets will be provided for each finalist which allows access into the event for the finalist plus a guest. The Promoters are Bauer, Media House, Lynchwood, Peterborough PE2 6EA. If for any reason beyond the promoter’s control it is not possible to provide the stated prizes, the promoter reserves the right to award alternative prizes of no lesser value. The promoter’s choice of alternative prize is final. The promoter accepts no responsibility for resultant loss or delay of entries.
